The World Cup is almost here and you can also win big! There's plenty of ways to get involved, from playing in a social tournament, learning the basics with Project Active or trying 3-v-3 street football for the first time. Will you reach the final and win a prize? 🏆

Be part of TeamUCL's Road to World Cup Final... come along to any football event, workshop or activity to win a point and advance through the rounds:

  • 1 point - you're out of the group stages and into the round of 16
  • 2 points - hooray you've made it to the quater-finals
  • 3 points - you've reached the semi-finals, you're nearly there...
  • 4 points - congratulations you've reached the final!

Prizes up for grabs

If you reach the final, you will be entered into the World Cup prize draw!

  • Gold medal: Personalised football bundle, including retro football shirt of your choice, Wembley Stadium tour tickets for 2, & football.
  • Silver medal: TeamUCL goodie bag & £20 drinks voucher to use at World Cup watch party in Phineas bar.
  • Bronze medal: TeamUCL goodie bag & £10 drinks voucher to use at World Cup watch party in Phineas bar.

New to the game? Project Active delivers low cost, beginner-friendly sessions, including Pay and Play 5-a-side football. Earn 1 point for every time you attend a session.

Join a social league or tournament to play semi-competitive football with other UCL students. All matches happen close to campus at affordable prices. One registration for a league/tournament equals 1 progression point.

Attend a CPD workshop or volunteer with Playmakers

Interested in a career in football or want to step up your leadership skills? There are several CPD workshops to attend this term. Achieve 1 progression point per workshop attendance. Volunteers and social sport activators will also get 1 point per session they support.
