Get support with money and budgeting

We can offer free, confidential and independent advice and support service. Our trained and experienced team can give you advice about:

  • Academic Advice - including extenuating circumstances, academic misconduct and the support to study framework
  • UCL Complaints and Disciplinaries
  • Housing Issues - including tenancy contract checks and housemate disputes
  • Employment Rights - including unpaid wages and part time employment contracts
  • Financial Support and Budgeting - including money management, hardship funds and welfare benefits.

Want to feature your money diary?

Start by submitting your information here. We're looking for a range of different people to take part and we are interested in understanding a wide range of financial experiences.  If you're selected to feature, we'll get in contact with you and ask you to log your spending over 7 days. Remember, all Money Diaries we publish are anonymous. We post your age, location, salary information, if you have a job, and daily diary entries but never your name, what you study, the name of your work, or contact information. That information stays confidential with our team, who might reach out with questions. Submitting your Money Diary doesn't guarantee it'll get published, but if it does, you'll receive a payment. Unpublished Money Diaries won't receive any payment.
