What is SICKO Beginners?
SICKO Beginners is a beginner-friendly ultimate frisbee tournament taking place in Triangle Way, Burgess Hill RH15 8WA; Weekend of October 17th-18th.
About 1hr45min away from campus (and even quicker if you live near thameslink!) You would need to pay for your own travel for this tournament.
Why should I join this tournament?
Beginners will have a chance to experience the fun competitive scene of Ultimate frisbee and play with beginners from other unis in a low pressure environment.
"SICKO Beginners has three divisions: beginners, open and women’s and runs each October; as the new academic year kicks off. The focus is strongly towards beginners. Usually university clubs with their fresher. (In the beginner division, A “beginner” is someone who has been playing ultimate for no longer than 3 months. In this division teams are entitled to one experienced player on the pitch at any one time, and this player should be obvious by their attire (usually by wearing a hat).Fun hats get extra cool points.)
