Critics have dubbed this the “Bermuda Triangle of Talent”: a system in which prestigious firms offer exceptional pay, status and opportunity, drawing talented graduates away from careers tackling society’s most pressing problems. But is this really a waste of talent? Or are these industries unfairly blamed for offering ambitious graduates the careers they actually want?
