Yarn, Scrunchies, and Charity: Join Knitting Society and Running Society for our Fundraiser Collab 💜 🏃!
We are hosting a fundraising event with all ticket proceeds going to Sunshine Action UK, a poverty relief charity that distributes Fortune Bags filled with food and sanitary essentials to homeless and low income individuals. They work closely with UCL, having previously packed 300 bags at our student centre! Your single ticket will cover around 70% of the cost for a Fortune Bag, so please join us in supporting their cause ☀️.
We will be making purple / UCL colour themed scrunchies that you can wear on a daily basis or when representing UCL, with KnitSoc providing the patterns and materials! Come along and learn how to knit or crochet a practical item whilst contributing to a meaningful cause! Please note you do not need to be part of a sports society to come along, this event is open for everybody 🫶
