Join the UCL Government & Politics Society for an evening with representatives from three of Westminster’s leading think tanks, as they ask whether the British state is still fit for purpose.

Speakers from Bright Blue, the Centre for Policy Studies and the Adam Smith Institute will debate the question from across the centre and the right. They will discuss how well government delivers, where reform is most needed, and what a more effective state might look like, drawing on the policy work that shapes debate in Westminster.

The panel will be followed by a Q&A where attendees can put their own questions to the speakers.

Whether you are interested in British politics, public policy, economics, or how ideas turn into government action, this promises to be an engaging and insightful evening.

Co-hosted with the Bentham Brooks Institute. This event is open to members of UCL Government & Politics Society and members of the Bentham Brooks Institute. Memberships will be checked at the door.
