It's a great pleasure to introduce you to UCL's Government and Politics Society, one of the most active political societies on campus, and genuinely open to everyone, whatever your politics, or none at all.
This year, we're bringing our members closer to the people who actually shape and live political decisions than almost any other society at UCL. That means senior speaker events with diplomats, intelligence figures, and government ministers, formal cross-spectrum debates on the biggest questions in British politics, high commission visits, and panels covering everything from foreign affairs to the machinery of domestic government.
We're a genuinely non-partisan society, built for anyone who wants to actually understand how politics works, engage with people who disagree with them, and hear directly from those who've been in the room where these decisions get made.
