Description

Paiwand is operating as a main organisation to help many refugees in London. We understand that people have different life experiences and see things differently. The volunteer will have the creative freedom to write about their story, their experiences or their thoughts and feelings on current topics surrounding the refugee crisis. The writing will have to be in line with Paiwand’s aims and objectives. Volunteers will be able to benefit from this role by developing their writing skills, creativity and enhancing their awareness of different issues. Help can be provided with editing if English is not their first language.

Duties

  • Creating a story or point to get across to the audience

Who will the volunteers be working with?

You’ll never be out of pocket for volunteering through us – with in-London travel expenses to and from your volunteering guaranteed.

In addition, the team here at Students’ Union UCL Volunteering Service is here to support you throughout your volunteering journey – you can get in touch with us at any time.
