This position is related to our Medical Assistance and Medical Education (MAME) program in Myanmar. We are currently working with our partner Medical Action Myanmar, social change organisation Sin Sar Bar and Burmese app developers Phayendar to develop, fundraise and pilot of a Medical Guidelines Platform to benefit the day to day operations and service delivery at 7 clinics of Medical Action Myanmar and strategy for scaling up this pilot to other organisations.
The app has unique features that would suit the low-tech, first-responder environment of the clinics run by Medical Action Myanmar. The country has been engulfed in political unrest and conflict since February 2021. We anticipate our product to make the lives of doctors in clinics easier, allow for better task shifting and ensure quality healthcare despite high turnover in clinics.
We feel a digital tool such as this is of even more importance given the recent earthquake event in Myanmar.
