Romanian and Eastern European Hub
The Romanian and Eastern European Hub is a service designed to support the Romanian community both in London and more widely across the UK. We are looking for Romanian speakers who could volunteer for 4 hours per week. With our staff and volunteers, we offer support in Romanian to those needing help due to language, digital, and cultural barriers.
Description

Do you love creating engaging content and connecting with people? The Ro-EE Hub is looking for a Communications and Social Media Volunteer who can create engaging content for our online community. Our Comms and Social Media Volunteers use their passion and knowledge of social media to promote the activities and policy updates of The Hub to engage and connect with as many of our community as possible.

You will receive regular training and supervision to ensure you feel confident in your role. This role is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer.

You do not need to be Romanian or Eastern European to be able to carry out this role. However, it is important you are keen to learn about the community to be able to genuinely engage with our specific audience that follows the Ro-EE Hub’s social media platforms.

Duties

  • Work with other volunteers and the Co-CEOs Nadia and Cecilia to capture events, meeting updates, news stories from the community.
