My Experience of Language and Cultural Day
I have recently volunteered for ‘the Language and Cultural Day’. At the one-day event, I taught Japanese culture and language to 30 local primary school students at UCL.

Linda works at One Housing, one of the organisations that our Student-Led Projects collaborate with. We had a wonderful chat with her about their experience working with our Student-Led Projects, and the impact they have had on the organisation and its beneficiaries.
The feeling of knowing that I am bettering myself through bettering others is unmatched.

Kaito Mizukoshi is a Management Sciences BSc student at the UCL School of Management. He tells us about his experience leading a Student-Led Volunteering Project, UCLef.

Anca is a 3rd year medical student intercalating in Neuroscience. She was able to get involved in research as early as her first year and wanted to enable others to have the same enriching experience.
Volunteering with Afghan refugees: "it is always the highlight of my week to be part of such a warm, welcoming community."
Two teams of UCL student volunteers have been making a big difference through their work with newly arrived Afghan refugees living in temporary accommodation in Camden.

Laura Bailey studies MSc Psychological Sciences and leads the Student-Led Camden Carers Centre Project at UCL. The initiative works with a local organisation in Camden, London to reach out and support carers in the area.
