My Priorities

Students are true partners in UCL, through empowered and respected Academic Reps who are central to decisions that affect them locally.
  • Met with colleagues from HEDS (Higher Education Development & Support) Institute and UCL Senior Education Team (SET) to discuss plans around staff training to better support Academic Reps.
  • Planned events for Academic Reps for Term 3.
Students are a key consideration for the next government and all students feel valued and supported; allowing them to learn, grow and widen their perspectives.

Presented the International Students work we're doing with Russell Group Students' Union at NUS England conference and discussed possible collaborations to strengthen our work in national influencing space.

Students have valued and recognised opportunities to develop their futures and improve their wellbeing to achieve wholesome and well-rounded experiences.

Attended Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO) Programme Board to discuss the ELO metrics in order to develop an evaluation framework and a strategic plan.

Students are assessed in an authentic and supportive manner that reduces stress, enhances their learning and equips them for their future.

Presented DAS (Delayed Assessment Scheme) at NUS England.

Sabbatical Officer Reports

Our Sabbatical Officers create a report every two weeks to inform our members. They believe that keeping everyone in the loop can foster a lively, supportive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to participate and share their ideas. These updates are a great way for them to share what's been happening, from their current projects to collaborations with different student groups, academic departments, and community organizations.

In each report, you can expect to find insights into the challenges they are tackling, the solutions they are implementing, and the positive impacts these efforts have on student life. From supporting engaging events and workshops to launching new programs that promote well-being and academic success, their initiatives are designed to enhance the overall campus experience.
