We want to know what you would change at UCL so we can work together to make it happen. Each day, students across UCL make the case for positive change. This happens at every level, from your rep on your course at a student staff committee, to your elected sabbatical officers in meetings with the Provost.
Your Term Two Education Update
After a well-deserved break, both students and staff are back for another term! Alongside the other Sabbatical Officers and my colleagues at the Students’ Union, I have been very busy working on a number of projects that I hope will improve your educational and student experience for this academic year and beyond.
Transforming student life at UCL
After many months of collaborative work with UCL’s senior team, we have now finalised a multi-million-pound investment to enhance student life at UCL. This investment is a huge endorsement of the impact that sports, arts, societies, volunteering, and events have on the lives of students.
Take on a leadership role in 2023
Each year in March, every student at UCL votes to elect the leaders of clubs, societies and the whole Students’ Union. 1,000’s put themselves forward and 1,000’s vote. The students you elect start work in the summer and spend the next academic year making more happen at UCL.
What happens after you submit an idea for change
We always want to hear your ideas to make positive change at UCL.Earlier this term Priya and Jade developed a policy proposal to help students find information about accessing support and information on gender-based violence. Watch the video below to find out what happened next.
