Calling all students who are mature, part-time, parents or carers!  We want you to join our Network!

The Mature, Part-time & Carers Students’ Network represents those studying part-time at any level, students over 21 starting their undergraduate degree or a postgraduate course after the age of 25, and any continuing UCL student with caring responsibilities. This Network is open to all students, UK and International.

Our Network represents the following students:

·         Mature students. We have all ranges in the network from early 20s to late 70s. It’s like a workplace!

·         Part-time students.  Perhaps combining studying with a job, career or other family responsibilities.

·         Parents.  With younger or older children, studying with juggling family life.

·         Carers.  Students who are also having to care for a parent, family member or relative in addition to studying.

We know from past research and experience that starting University can be a daunting and isolating experience at times. We are here to help you! We are a community of like minded and welcoming people who you can use as a sounding board, resource or support.  And to make some friends!

Bespoke networking and get togethers by group or interest is also available via smaller WhatsApp groups e.g. older mature students, those looking for quieter events, exercise and sport, going out, and parents.

Our main communication will be via our main Mature/Part-Time UCL Main Chat WhatsApp group. This link will be sent to you 1-2 days after you join the Network, from the link on this page.

Once you have joined this community you can also join any smaller WhatsApp group listed above.

Our secondary method of communication will be via email.

Please do join our Network (from this page, on the right hand side) and we look forward to meeting you soon! It’s free!

Read more about the network here in our blog.

We look forward to meeting you.
