Snowsports Club: Trip Secretary

Hi everyone,

I’m really excited to apply for the role of Trip Secretary next year. Having experienced the whirlwind that was L2A 2025, I’m eager to see the next trip be all that and more.

I was struck by how many people the trip brought together; from beginners to experts, there were lessons and workshops for all to enjoy. I would really look forward to replicating this next year, reaching out to an even wider audience. 

That said, putting together great trips is not easy. I’m keenly aware of the intricacies involved and I’ve gained a valuable insight into the process through my work this past season as a Wasteland rep. This allowed me to work very closely with committee members, including trip secretaries, of other universities whilst on trip to ensure that the entire operation ran smoothly. 

I am especially excited about the prospect of working closely with other members of the committee next year, whether that be the media and marketing sec in order to promote the trip and drum up excitement or the social secs in order to deliver crazy nights out in the alps.

Given my poor form in trip attendance this year, I would like the opportunity to redeem myself by cooking up two absolute bangers of trips next year. I believe that with my passion for good snow and drinking lots of alcohol will lead me to find some phenomenal trip spots next year.
