Yuxuan Li

Hi, I'm Yuxuan Li, a first year mechanical engineering student from China. I enjoy cooking because it enables me to share things I do with other.
I join all the projects in Ingenium Society. I know there may be problems in communication with teammates and buying materials for constructing projects.
I'm confident in improving the wellbeing of all the members of the society.

Sharan Hinduja

As a founding member of Ingenium, I have a deep understanding of our society’s goals and the supportive, ambitious community we are building across UCL. Through conversations with first years and students across year groups, I also understand the pressures, worries and challenges many students face.

As Welfare Officer, I aim to be a bridge between members and the committee, ensuring every voice is heard and every student feels able to thrive. I want Ingenium to be not only innovative and inspiring, but also inclusive, accessible and genuinely supportive.

My priority will be to ensure our events are welcoming to all, considering accessibility, wellbeing and different comfort levels in social and professional settings. I will create clear, open channels for feedback and be an approachable, visible member of the committee so that students feel comfortable raising concerns or sharing ideas.

Through my experience as a school prefect responsible for health and wellbeing, I have sat on committees where students shared concerns, and I communicated these effectively to staff to ensure meaningful change. I understand the importance of listening without judgement, maintaining confidentiality and advocating constructively.
