Election post
I’m standing for Welfare Officer because women’s health spaces should feel safe, warm, and empowering, not intimidating! 🫶✨ I'm really passionate about women’s health + femtech, (planning to do MSc Women's Health), and I want the society to be a place where people can show up as they are, ask questions without feeling judged, and leave events feeling supported.
I was Welfare Officer for Genetics Society this year, so I have experience planning welfare-focused initiatives, building inclusive vibes at events, and signposting support when needed. If elected, I’d love to bring more cosy/community energy, host more chill socials, and make sure society culture stays kind + supportive.
