Vashin Kaushik

I believe I would be well suited to the role of Club Secretary due to my strong organisation, communication skills and commitment to the club. Having represented Leicestershire academy in cricket, I understand how important preparation and clear communication are in making training sessions and fixtures run smoothly.

Alongside my degree in Statistics, Economics and Finance, I’ve been involved in committee roles that require regular coordination and admin. As an events coordinator for the Sports Business Society, I help communicate updates to members and support event logistics and work closely with the committee to keep things running efficiently. This has given me practical experience managing messages, schedules and small but important tasks.

I would bring this same approach to supporting the Training Secretary with weekly net logistics, ensuring sessions are well organised and clearly communicated. I’m comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and staying on top of things, even during busy periods.

I’m also keen to help organise summer fixtures and contribute to any additional jobs needed throughout the season. I’m approachable, proactive and always willing to help and I’d be excited to play a part in supporting the club both on and off the field.

Sid Suresh

I would love to be the club secretary for UCL Cricket next year so that I can contribute to the running of this great club and community. The cricket club has been one of the best parts, if not the best part, of my university experience so far so I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to get more involved and help make the club even better and allow people to have the same great experience I had when joining this society. I would like to make sure the cricket club is constantly growing, gaining new members and becoming increasingly enjoyable to be a part of. If elected, I will be dedicated to the role and I will ensure the smooth running of the club by working closely with the rest of the committee.

Nathanael Harley

Hi everyone, I’m Nathanael and I am running to be club sec.

I would help the club run as smoothly as possible behind the scenes. Someone has to make sure emails get sent and book pitches and I can certainly be that someone. Plus, if anyone can get the CC a Morley’s sponsorship, it’s me.
