Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club: Women's Officer

Hi, my name is Sonya. I study Philosophy and History of Art. I've been doing BJJ for two and a half (almost three!) years now. I train at UCL and Grapple Collective. It's my favourite thing in the world! If I were to be on the UCL BJJ committee, I would look to organise seminars delivered by leading female athletes (a couple of who train at the same gym as me), a Women's Only class and regular open-matt field trips for female club members to get more female training partners. I believe in women's grappling a lot, I'd like to promote it at UCL.
