Basketball Club (Women's): Postgraduate Officer

Every year we have a lot of postgraduate students. Going in to my fourth year (masters), I have had the pleasure of getting to know many, and got to understand how the club could support them better. I'd like to put on a few postgraduate specific events, especially at the beginning of the year, as I've received feedback over these two years that sometimes postgrads feel weird/aren't interested in partying with freshers, (especially during Welcome Week). In the role, I would make sure to be a point of contact between the club and our postgrad community, coordinating with the social secs and others to make sure we are properly accommodating those in all stages of life and making a space comfortable and inviting for everyone. In terms of supporting those literally post - graduation, I set up the alumni 'network' at the end of my social sec year, and have since been organising events for them as well.
