Millie Pettitt

Hi, I’m Millie and I’m running for Vice President.

I hope to make UCL MEDLIFE a society that actively contributes to our local community, as well as to the larger MEDLIFE movement. This means giving members the right opportunities to do so, and getting everyone involved. I also hope to make sure the society stays accessible to anyone, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age or disability.

I propose the following:

  • Events such as panel discussions, debates and talks with a diverse range of speakers.
  • Varied and structured volunteering programmes in the local community, working with local charities, businesses and schools.
  • Collaborating with other London universities to help the MEDLIFE movement outside of UCL.
  • Promoting diversity and inclusivity within the society to make sure it is accessible to everyone.
  • Regular socials to get members involved and engaged early on (think pizza and movie nights, bowling, cooking sessions…)

Vote for me to make MEDLIFE a society that makes a difference.

Thank you!
