From the ceremonial Wei Lu Zhu Cha with Twenty-Four Solar Terms theme (Tea Preparation on Traditional Stoves) of Chinese culture to the relaxed ambiance of English High Tea and the robust energy of Turkish Çay Culture, each event is designed to enrich your understanding and appreciation of global tea traditions.
  • Tea and Personality Exploration: In collaboration with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), our Tea and MBTI Socials explore how personality types influence tea preferences and brewing rituals, providing a fascinating psychological twist to our tea experiences.
  • TeaTime Study Sessions: During exam seasons, the TeaTime Study provides a soothing space for members to de-stress. Here, you can learn about the health benefits of tea while engaging in focused study sessions, complemented by the comforting ritual of tea drinking.
  • Tea Party Socials and Games: Our society hosts regular tea parties where you can socialize in a relaxed atmosphere, meet new friends, and enjoy light-hearted board games like Werewolf.

“Yaji in Snow” is a calm winter afternoon at Kew Gardens hosted by UCL Tea Society × Chinese Art Society.
The whole event is built around four simple parts:
