Ku soo dhawaada! Welcome to the official page of UCL Somali Society (SomSoc).
UCL Somali Society is a space for anyone who wants to connect with Somali culture whether you grew up around it or just want to reconnect with your heritage. We welcome everyone, Somali or not, to be part of our community.
Throughout the year, we organise events that bring people together. These include sports events, games nights and cultural activities. We also provide spaces for people to learn more about Somali history and language.
Our society is about more than just having events at university. We want to give back to our community and create opportunities for others through charity work and outreach.
Most importantly, we want Somali Society to help everyone make the most of what Somali culture has to offer. From our unbeatable humour to our creative minds, there is so much for us to share.
Come along and get involved.
