Welcome to the UCL Pokémon Society!
Whether you've been a fan since a young age or casually play Pokémon Go, or even if you know absolutely nothing about Pokémon, we're a friendly and cheerful community with a bunch of activities planned for everyone! We hope you enjoy your time with us!
Common Activities
- Socials - Meet new people with similar interests! Play, battle and trade at least once a week!
- Arts & Crafts - Unleash your creative side with frequent Pokémon-inspired events, or join the London University Videogame Orchestra for some musical flair!
- Gaming/Movie/Anime Nights - Held both online and in-person, there'll be a variety of screenings throughout the year!
- Pokémon Go Walks - Walk around London with us and friends from other London unis, to finally catch 'em all!
- Tournaments - Learn the basics of card-based or competitive Pokémon battles, and compete against other trainers for prizes!
- Quiz Nights - How much do you really know about Pokémon? This is your chance to show off your mastery!
- Inter-Uni collaborations - We've partnered up with the Inter-Uni Pokémon Society (I-UPS) to bring you huge events such as a massive Pixelmon server, Inter-Uni draft league and more, with 20+ unis nationwide!
- ...And much, much more!
Events will be held both online and in-person, depending on their nature! Standard membership grants you access to both :)
Join our Discord server where we host frequent online events - it's our members' favourite place to hang out outside of socials!
