
What are the Club Development Awards?
These awards are part of our larger Sports Awards ceremony and celebration. Throughout the year, clubs will achieve development criteria, logging this in development plans. The Club Development Awards celebrate the achievement of these key milestones, e.g. raising a certain amount of money for charity, engaging in good club governance, or engaging in equity and inclusion programmes.
Clubs are then awarded either bronze, silver or gold levels during the Sports Awards, based on the number of criteria and points they have achieved. Clubs will be awarded non-grant funding in line with their award, with bronze clubs receiving the lowest amount, and gold clubs the highest.

Nomination Process
Please note, clubs who have faced formal disciplinary sanctions will not be considered for an award.
Use this webform to submit your club's nomination for the 2025 Development Awards by 17:00 on Monday 11th May 2026. Please ensure you describe in detail any relevant events and developments your club has done this year to clearly demonstrate how you meet at least one of the criteria for each area and the steps you have taken to develop your club.
Please also use the image and video file upload sections under the "Club Details" section to send in images and short video clips that we can use in the Sports Awards Ceremony.
