UCL Audiology Society brings hearing science, deaf awareness, communication, psychology, linguistics, medicine, and wellbeing together in one community. Expect interactive events, workshops, and opportunities to connect with professionals and students across different fields. Whether you know nothing about audiology or already love the subject, there’s definitely something here for you that helps.

Your £3 standard membership gives you access to a range of academic, social, practical, and cross-disciplinary experiences throughout the year:

Keynote Speaker Events: Hear from audiologists, speech and language professionals, researchers, wellbeing practitioners, and other inspiring speakers. Expand your perspective, ask questions, and connect with people working in areas you may want to explore in the future.
Seasonal Events: Celebrate the year with fun activities inspired by occasions such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day, but with auditory sparks.
World Hearing Day Workshop: Learn more about hearing health, hearing loss, prevention, deaf awareness, and the importance of inclusive communication.
Cross-Society Collaborations: Work with societies and organisations across UCL, such as BSL and Psychology, to other healthcare-related communities and audiology companies / Explore how hearing connects with language, mental wellbeing, medicine, communication, and much more.

Student groups are run by UCL students and facilitated by Students’ Union UCL. The Union is an educational charity and part of how it supports the education of students at UCL is through facilitating a diverse range of opportunities for students to run, join and experience different interests, groups and activities.
