Like every other aspect of life, the coronavirus outbreak is affecting volunteering. Some activities - including most one-off events and all of our Student-led Volunteering Projects - are no longer happening.
There are still opportunities to volunteer - we've gathered up these on our directory, which includes roles linked to the outbreak and volunteering you can still do remotely.
We’ll be posting new requests for help in our newsletter over the coming weeks - sign up for updates if you'd like to be amongst the first to hear.
In the meantime there are informal neighbourhood support groups popping up all over the country. If you’re in Camden, you can see if there’s a group near you via the Camden COVID-19 Mutual Aid facebook group. If you’re elsewhere in the UK, there’s a national list at COVID-19 Mutual Aid UK
Another way to help is to make a donation to your local foodbank. They’re anticipating a large increase in demand – you can find one near you using the Trussell Trust website.
Our office is closed, but the team are still here to help, so do get in touch with any questions, concerns or ideas you may have.
Wherever you are in the world, we hope you and your loved ones are keeping safe.
