Access requirements
Access to the mailbox.
To set up (per mailbox)
Close outlook Open control panel (start menu, type 'control panel'):
- Open Mail
- Open Profile
- Click 'Add...'
- Enter the name of the shared mailbox
- Click OK
- Select profile
- Click Properties
- Click 'E-mail accounts'
- Click 'new'
- Enter name of mailbox and e-mail address of mailbox - leave password blank
- Click Next
- When UCL login pops up, click 'Sign in with a different account'
- Enter your personal account e-mail and password
- Click OK
- Click Finish
- Click Close and Close
- Click Apply
To do mailmerge
- Open outlook
- Go to File > Account Settings > Change Profile
- Select the newly configured profile
- Outlook will reopen
- Open Word and do the mailmerge
- In Outlook, go to File > Account Settings > Change Profile
- Choose your normal profile
