Access requirements

Access to the mailbox.

To set up (per mailbox)

Close outlook Open control panel (start menu, type 'control panel'):

  1. Open Mail
  2. Open Profile
  3. Click 'Add...'
  4. Enter the name of the shared mailbox
  5. Click OK
  6. Select profile
  7. Click Properties
  8. Click 'E-mail accounts'
  9. Click 'new'
  10. Enter name of mailbox and e-mail address of mailbox - leave password blank
  11. Click Next
  12. When UCL login pops up, click 'Sign in with a different account'
  13. Enter your personal account e-mail and password
  14. Click OK
  15. Click Finish
  16. Click Close and Close
  17. Click Apply

To do mailmerge

  1. Open outlook 
  2. Go to  File > Account Settings > Change Profile
  3. Select the newly configured profile 
  4. Outlook will reopen
  5. Open Word and do the mailmerge
  6. In Outlook, go to  File > Account Settings > Change Profile
  7. Choose your normal profile
