Install software on a UCL device

Software can only be installed on Desktop@UCL devices two ways:

• Via the 'Software Centre' in the start menu, for some pre-approved software - it is worth checking here first - there is a guide at https://www.ucl.ac.uk/isd/how-to/desktopucl-for-staff-how-to-install-applications-ucl-built-machine
• By request to [email protected] stating the software, version, your computer host name (the number on the UCL sticker on your computer, e.g. 043122) and whether you have a license for installation.
