The theme of Blooms '27 is “Serendipity"! And we are now looking for choreographers for our show.
Serendipity.
“When the unexpected interrupts normality, creating a better reality.”
Most people believe that serendipity is simply ’good luck’ or ‘fate’ – a fleeting moment that brings short-term happiness.
However, Serendipity can also be the journey of life, a story involving unexpected moments, both positive and negative, that ultimately result in a new perspective, peace and hope.
The serendipity journey will be explored through three ‘acts’: Normalcy, Disruption and Destination, which ultimately explain the different phases of serendipity and the emotions associated with them.
Hopefully, together, we will create a show that offers a more meaningful understanding of serendipity and allows everyone to truly reflect on these “unexpected moments” that have shaped us into the unique individuals we are today.
Choreography Bids will be taking place on 6th, 7th and 8th of November, where we are expecting to see a short 30 second segment of your choreography, so please make sure you will be free to attend the bid for one of these dates and be ready to talk us through your ideas in detail. Pieces this year are limited to 4 minutes.
In addition, please make sure you will be free for the following dates too:
- 12th December 2026 - Full cast 1
- 30th January 2027 - Full cast 2
- 21st February 2027 - Full cast 3
- 1-6th March - Prod week
- 4-6th March - SHOW DATES
