We know staying active and playing sport has a positive impact on student wellbeing and sense of belonging. At TeamUCL, we want to extend our support to societies to help even more students benefit.
Adding sport to your offer is a great way to diversify your activities, provide alcohol-free socials, boost your members' wellbeing and create a sense of community.

 

 

Why not get your society involved in our existing programmes?

Register a team into a social league

We run weekly leagues in 10+ sports, close to campus and affordable. You can sign up as a society, meaning you have ready made socials and no individuals are required to pay up front. Find out more here.

Join our mass participation events

We run a number of showcase events that your society can sign up to, such as the Halloween Fun Run, The UCL Charity Swimathon and The UCL Campus Run. Head to Project Active's webpage to find out more.

Request your own Pay & Play Football

If you have enough interested members to fill up your own session, we can organise private sessions exclusively for your members. Email Project Active to find out more ⚽

Request your own Project Active Weekly Class

If you have enough interested members to fill up your own class for example Yoga, Pilates or Dance Fit, we can organise private sessions exclusively for your members. Email Project Active to find out more. 

 

Interested in starting your own activity?

TeamUCL are now offering a support package to societies that are keen to deliver their own sport 💰

Successful societies receive:

  • Up to £200 to spend on sports equipmentISOC FC
  • Activator training and kit for up to 2 members
  • First aid training for up to 2 members
  • Support with risk assessments, session planning and marketing with the relevant staff member (e.g Tennis, Football or Running and Athletics Development Officers)

Conditions

  • Any funds not spent will be reclaimed
  • Societies must keep and share attendee lists and short feedback form at the end of the term

 

Applications to this are currently open for Term 1. 

You can expect to hear back from your application within a week of submitting.
