A motion of no confidence in Iman Hamadi, President of Polish Society has been called via a petition signed by at least 10 paid members of the Polish Society.
This vote of no confidence has now been organised to take place via the Students' Union UCL website.
The question posed is: "Do you have confidence in Iman Hamadi as President of the Polish Society?"
- Voting 'Yes' means you have confidence in the member, and would like them to continue in their post.
- Voting 'No' means you do not have confidence in the member, and would like to remove them from their post.
Only paid members of the Polish Society are eligible to vote. Taster members are not eligible to vote.
The usual requirement to hold paid membership for 28 days has been waived for this vote by the Activities & Engagement Officer and Deputy Returning Officer, on the basis that paid membership of the Polish Society has not yet been available for 28 days.
The outcome is decided by a simple majority through this online vote.
Quorum for this vote is 1 (one). As long as 1 (one) or more votes are cast, the result of the vote will be valid and binding.
The timeline of this vote of no confidence is as follows:
- Voting Opens: 7:00am, Monday 4th November 2024
- Voting Closes: 1:00pm, Friday 8th November 2024
- Result Published: Before 5:00pm, Friday 8th November 2024
