Hello! I am running for the position of Captain with the goal of making UCL as competitive as we can be. I started playing Ultimate Frisbee 6 years ago in my high school and played 1 year in a Singaporean club. As term 2 begins, the competitive season is in full swing and I believe in starting strong and carrying the momentum throughout the season. My leadership philosophy relies on getting the team to make a concerted effort in improving our abilities. After all, Ultimate Frisbee is a team sport and we are only as strong as our weakest link. My goal as a Captain is to raise the intensity of our trainings whilst promoting bonding among team members to create the team chemistry that is key to our success. One way I intend to do this is by gamifying our trainings with forfeits and rewards to encourage healthy competition between team members. This will allow us to push one another to the next level while making trainings more engaging and fun.
