Wilderness Medicine Society: Welfare Officer

Hey everyone! 

My name is Danilo and I would love to be your Welfare Officer! I have been on the committee of over other 50 societies, networks and groups on UCL - including President and Welfare Officer - and I have also founded many societies and projects, meaning I have a lot of connections and am well experienced! 

Next year, as Welfare Officer, I will:

1. Regularly check in with members and offer support and resources
2. Always be here to talk and signpost – however big or small the problem is, I am here
3. Organise Welfare Socials (such as picnics, Kahoot Nights, Chat and Cake Sessions, Speed-Friendings, Tote Bag making sessions, Board Game Nights, online socials and more)
4. Organise collabs with other societies, universities and networks
5. Help promote vaccine update and clinical trials in order to help medical research and make the world a better place
6. Help organise fundraisers to raise money 
7. Invite guest speakers in to do talks
