Surgery and Interventional Science Society: Social Media and Marketing Officer

Hi everyone, I am Jimin, a 2nd year Medical sciences and Engineering student. I have enjoyed being the social media and marketing officer for a past year, I am familiar with the working of this role and will be able to implement further improvements in the next year. 

As my degree suggests, I am interested not only in the field of medicine but also in structuring technologies and applying varied techniques to setups like hospitals, clinics, and more. This society clubs my interests in the best possible way and will be a chance to network with people in the field. With such passion, I believe I will do a good job in organising events, widening participation, and ensuring that the topics we discuss encourage growth for all members. 

The following list is what I will aim as a Social media and marketing officer:

1. Work with the group members to ensure safeguarding and diversity and inclusion information for making peaceful atmosphere in the society.
2. Work with the Committee members for utilising the events and works to complete of any action plan to address the successful results for everyone.
3. Engage and support the members of this society to help them to not hesitate to approach those trustworthy committee members.
4. Be a good listener and friendly by caring and understand the situations that might happen during the events or when organising the events.
