Somali Society: Welfare Officer

Soo dhawoow! As a member of Somali Society, I am passionate about making sure the society is a safe space for everyone here, so that everyone can enjoy themselves at society events and contribute to their community.

As welfare officer, I will:

✅design a complaints procedure for our society, to make sure that any problems between Society or Committee members are swiftly dealt with

✅lead on welfare events for members in times such as Ramadan and exam season

✅connect with other welfare officers at UCL to provide resources for our society

✅create advocacy resources for any Somali Society members who feel that they need support with engaging with UCL
