Singapore Society: Creative Director

Hi there! I'm Rebekah, and I have always been passionate about storytelling. As your Creative Director, I would not hesitate to lead the charge in showcasing Singapore to the rest of the world, especially through a medium as fun and effective as the stage! My experiences working on the set of this year's SingSoc Play have really inspired me to get the creative juices flowing, and I certainly aim to keep the tradition going strong heading into the next academic year. I would hence love for the opportunity to work together with everyone to celebrate our country's unique culture and history. We all have great stories to tell!

Here's mine: SingSoc has played a major role in shaping my journey here in London, being that home away from home for me to turn to whenever I started to miss having hawker center food just downstairs. Therefore, I believe that becoming SingSoc's Creative Director would also be the perfect way for me to give back to the community, making the most of my strengths as someone who has had a strong lifelong interest in the arts.
