Psychology and Education Society: Social Media Officer

I'm Olivia, a second-year BSc Psychology with Education student. While I haven't been heavily involved with the PES society in the past, I'm passionate about the field and social media marketing. I’m ready to dedicate myself to promoting our society's events through engaging storytelling, eye-catching graphic designs, and stimulating discussions on social media.

I have experience in creating compelling online content, with strong editing skills for videos and graphics. The success of my short video, which reached over 15 thousand views, attests to my creativity and ability to captivate audiences.

If elected, I intend to:

- Develop engaging and interactive promotions for society events, talks, and projects through Instagram stories, posts, and reels.
- Enhance our current Instagram account by infusing it with fun, relatable content that aligns with current online trends. For example, for the IOE ball, we could produce TikTok-style videos featuring countdown challenges, dress ideas and transformation, behind-the-scenes-sneak-peaks, choreographed dance challenges etc.
- Regularly share posts introducing psychological and educational concepts or theories, making academic knowledge accessible to both Psychology with Education students and many others interested in the subjects.
- Ensure diversity and inclusivity are reflected in all content shared through our social media platforms.
