Hi everyone! I'm Eva, a 2nd-year Biochemistry student standing for the Vice President position. I have been a dedicated member of the society for the past two years, participating in coding workshops and mentorship programmes; my engagement has fostered a deep understanding and appreciation of the scope and opportunities offered here.

Having previously worked in a medical start-up, I understand the significance of transitioning from an academic setting to acquiring practical skills, professional insights, and industry connections. I aim to build a nurturing environment that fosters professional development; this includes enriching networking opportunities with external organizations, ranging from entrepreneurial projects to established corporations with diverse specializations and operations, and organising visits to exhibitions and public events.

Additionally, building on the socials established by the current leadership team over the past year, I aim to expand outreach to more relevant societies for collaborations to broaden members' interests, while enhancing the society's visibility and engagement with a larger community. Working with the SU has equipped me with essential interpersonal and communication skills, key assets I bring for collaboration with the committee on established proposals and goals.

I am excited about cooperating with a community deeply passionate about technology and innovation in the medical field, and contributing to the growth of this society.

Hi! I’m Eva, a second year Biomedical Engineering student.
I am very interested in everything health-tech related, so I am always trying to participate in activities to learn more about this amazing sector and meet other fellow health-tech enthusiasts!
This academic year, I have been the Events and Networking Officer at UCL Surgery and Interventional Science society, so I have previous experience in running a med-tech related society.
I hope that by being vice-president of MedTech, I will be able to contribute to such an amazing and important society.
