Hello everyone! My name is Mao Kawakami, and I am a second-year Geophysics student.

  Since I made many friends at Greenough events in my first and second years, I am enthusiastic about contributing to this society. Currently, I am serving as both the Social Secretary and Academic Secretary for the Greenough Society. As the Social Secretary, I have posted more than half of our Instagram posts this year (15 out of 28) and have successfully gained over 100 followers in 6 months.

If elected as the vice-president of the Greenough Society, I will ensure:

  1. 【Solid liaisons】organising more events to connect students and professors, such as Christmas Dinner and Film Nights.
  2. 【Monthly events】 including GraNight (Board Game Night), Pub Crawls, Running and more.
  3. 【SNS】Ensuring regular posts on Instagram to encourage high attendance from both members and non-members. Please follow @greenoughsociety !!
  4. 【Collaborations】Continuing collaborations with other societies, as we have done in the like 22/23
  5. 【Trip & Merchandise】Initiating merchandise sales in September and organizing a Greenough Trip during term 1 reading week. Support me if you would like to join these events!
