What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

I aimed to achieve a lifetime experience of working with one of the best student communities. It will provide me with an opportunity to connect with people from diverse groups. I will be able to share my cultural values and hear from others. It will create a window to meet and greet new people. Also, it will help me to sharpen my leadership skills. Thus, the position will engage me in people management and allow me to be enlightened by the beauty of a multicultural environment. I am a passionate learner and thrive in team environments, particularly those that are culturally diverse.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

In my early life, I actively engaged in non-academic sectors. I participated in different social activities, including firefighting and crisis management. During my master's program, I served as the program coordinator for the Tilburg Law School. My key responsibility was to coordinate my classmates' expectations and inform key personnel, with the goal of continuous program development. However, I served my class as an elected 'Class Representative' at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, which reflects my capacity to support a community and ensure their well-being adequately.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

"I am" Vs. "We are": Najmus believes in "We are..."
The BJH is a place where families and children from diverse cultures reside in peace, harmony, and with mutual respect.  "We are" determined to keep this spirit high and ensure a lifetime experience, especially for our children. This way, once they become adults, they will cherish the memories at BJH as some of their magical moments in life, just as "We" often recall our childhood days, which were the best days of our lives.
