Election post
I’ve served as first-year Academic Rep and as a transition mentor, so I’m a go-to point of contact on academics. I listen, act on feedback, and know the people, processes and pain-points. I’ve worked with students and staff to improve assignment scheduling, organise socials, and resolve issues. Classmates message me first; I summarise clearly, escalate to module leads, and deliver calm comms, quick follow-ups and practical fixes.
My goals reflect students’ priorities, to name a few: more study and workshop space, better ventilation (Bartlett 6th floor), and more charging points. I’ll push for a booking system within 22 Gordon Street so everyone has a place to work; clearer marking criteria; and easier access to UCL East facilities (photo/lighting studios, 3D scanning, material labs) with transparent how-to guides. Expect termly “you said—we did” updates and cross-cohort events that boost and wellbeing and foster valuable connections.
I care deeply about improving our education and have already delivered change. I’m approachable and persistent: I turn complaints into actions—then report back. You’ll feel quick wins this term (space, access, deadline clarity) while I work with staff on longer-term fixes like fair assessments and accessible facilities. You’ll always know what I’m working on and how to reach me - unless I'm busy saving Gotham City.
