My global experience as a woman with experience in art, architecture, interior design, construction and real estate across 3 continents helps me to understand and empathise with several groups. Growing up in internationals schools, my proximity to various cultures from Asia, to the Middle East, and Europe have helped me to understand what truly matter to people and how to navigate tough conversations. I am a lover of precision, organisation and team building, and I am also a French, English and Yoruba speaker, with beginner level Arabic.
My desire is to bridge the gap between all courses in the Built Environment Faculty by highlighting key issues which students raise and taking necessary steps towards creating a lasting impact, for a more integrated study and overall learning experience. As professionals, our roles are deeply interconnected, and there is no better way to engage than by creating spaces for engagement, encouraging discourse, and sharing our unique perspectives both within the industry and in our day-to-day lives.
I care deeply, I listen carefully and I work hard to ensure that those I represent do not feel let down. My intersectional experience as a woman across varying built environment sectors provide me with a unique perspective on varying topics. The built environment is in dire need of young professionals with a breath of knowledge and ability to work across teams. I’m approachable, transparent and eager to share opportunities rather than keeping it to myself. With a friendly face and not a mean bone in my body, I’ll work hard to ensure every student feels welcome, heard and represented, and help build a more supportive and inclusive Faculty community.
During my bachelor's degree, I actively took on responsibility as a member of the student association, as well as an elected student faculty representative and university representative for a total of three years. I contributed to shaping campus life and represented the opinions and concerns of my fellow students. Ensuring smooth communication between students, faculty staff, and professors was particularly important to me. Also, I am proficient in dealing responsibly with problems affecting individuals or a degree programme.
To make processes at the Bartlett run even more smoothly, to be a point of contact for students and staff at the university, and to lay the foundations for the best possible academic education. Furthermore, I would like to ensure that all degree programmes at the Bartlett are represented equally. Strengthening exchange between degree programmes (both academically and among students) and promoting interdisciplinary links are of high importance to me.
In addition to the necessary commitment, I bring knowledge of general processes and communication structures within a university and can confidently represent students from various degree programmes. As an open communication partner and point of contact, I am reliably available and able to forward concerns, requests, and opinions in a focused and effective manner.
I come from the construction industry and now study its economics at The Bartlett, UCL's Faculty of the Built Environment. I understand how decisions are made, and more importantly, how they affect people. I work with structure, timelines, and expectations every day. I don’t overpromise. I listen carefully, act when needed, and stay consistent. I value clarity, and I approach this role with the same discipline I apply to my work: focused, pragmatic, and committed to results.
I want to improve how students and faculty communicate. Not through more meetings, but through clearer processes and faster responses. I’ll focus on making feedback visible and making sure it leads to change. I’ll work to ensure that students know what’s happening, why it’s happening, and how they can influence it. That’s the minimum we should expect.
I understand how institutions work, and I know how easily student voices get lost in them. I won’t waste time with vague promises or empty gestures. I’ll focus on what matters: making sure concerns are heard, followed up, and resolved. I’ll keep communication clear, decisions transparent, and priorities aligned with what students actually need. If elected, I’ll treat this role with the seriousness it deserves.
I will bring a mix of leadership, communication, and teamwork skills that I have built through academic, professional, and volunteer experiences. I have led architectural projects such as Beirut River: Portrait and Injection and taken on multiple leadership roles with the Lebanese Red Cross, from Team Leader to Head of Center, PR representative, Mission Leader and many others. These roles taught me how to listen, mediate, and motivate groups toward shared goals. At UCL, I want to use these skills to strengthen dialogue between students and staff and foster a supportive, inclusive community.
If elected, I hope to create stronger communication between postgraduate students and the faculty, making sure concerns are addressed and feedback leads to real improvements. From my past experiences leading projects and teams, I know the value of listening and building trust, and I want to bring that here. Alongside diplomatic work with the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Consulate of Iceland, I remain impact-driven, collaborative, and committed to turning our ideas into meaningful change.
I want to make UCL a place where student voices actively shape faculty decisions. I look forward to strengthening dialogue between students and staff so concerns turn into real action, advocating for innovative teaching such as guest lectures with industry experts, and supporting initiatives that enhance both academic excellence and well-being. Drawing on my experience coordinating diplomatic events and promoting opportunities across a 19,000-member business network in Vietnam, I aim to connect students with unique industry insights, career opportunities, and practical learning experiences.
Vote for me if you want a rep who turns ideas into impact. I’ll make sure student voices influence teaching, career development, and the life of the Built Environment faculty. I am committed to being a reliable, approachable, and proactive voice to ensure every student feels heard and valued.
Coming from a background in medicine, I have spent years working in high pressure environments that demanded clear communication, empathy and teamwork. As a doctor, listening to people, understanding their needs and finding solutions were at the heart of my daily work.
Now transitioning into the built environment field, I bring a fresh perspective that bridges human wellbeing and the design of healthy spaces. My medical training taught me how the built environment directly affects physical and mental health, which motivates me to contribute meaningfully to this field.
If elected, my goal is to build a strong community across programmes by helping students from diverse backgrounds connect, share ideas and collaborate.
I also want to ensure that students feel supported by keeping an open channel between students and staff, helping address concerns early, and working towards positive changes in teaching, facilities and wellbeing support.
Coming from a non traditional background, I understand the challenges of entering a new field. I want to use this perspective to support others making similar transitions and help everyone feel included and confident at UCL.
Students should vote for me because I care about people, their experiences, challenges and growth. I bring empathy, professionalism and problem solving skills developed through my medical career and now apply them to my studies in the built environment.
I believe in collaboration, fairness and practical solutions. Whether it’s improving communication with the faculty, advocating for better learning experiences or simply to listen and act, I will represent students with dedication and integrity.
In short, I want our faculty to be a place where students feel heard, supported and proud to belong.
Having represented students and worked with diverse teams in conferences such as the Global Diplomatic Forum and UNESCO projects, I understand the importance of collaboration, inclusivity, and effective dialogue. As an international student with a background in political science and public policy, I can offer a global perspective and ensure that postgraduate voices from different backgrounds are heard and supported.
If elected, I aim to strengthen communication between postgraduate students and the faculty by ensuring that every student’s voice is heard and represented. I hope to create a more inclusive and supportive academic environment where students feel confident sharing their feedback and ideas. My goal is to collaborate with faculty members to improve learning resources, enhance wellbeing initiatives, and organize networking or academic development events that help students build both professional and personal connections.
You should vote for me because I truly care about making our faculty a place where every student feels heard, supported, and connected. I’ll work hard to make sure your ideas and concerns are shared with the faculty and turned into real action.
I bring over a decade of experience delivering large infrastructure projects in London, along with earlier roles across Europe. My background as a Manager means I’ve spent years coordinating teams, managing stakeholders, and finding solutions when things get challenging. Working with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds has shown me the value of unity, and that by supporting one another, we can achieve more together. Alongside this, my MBA studies are sharpening my leadership and strategic thinking, which I’m keen to bring into the role.
My main goal is to ensure every student in our faculty feels heard and supported. That means building stronger connections between students across programs to benefit from the different knowledge and experiences, and creating open channels of communication to ensure our concerns are raised constructively. Also, it's important to look ahead! Industries and societies are going through major changes due to technological leaps such as AI and robotics. It is my goal to bring this dialogue high on the agenda and promote exceptional ideas, ensuring we are steering discussions in the right direction.
I will represent all students with the same dedication and professionalism I’ve applied in my career managing major projects and teams in order to create value for all stakeholders. I know how to advocate for people and noble causes, establish and maintain open and effective communication, and deliver outcomes that make a difference. Having been part of large-scale and complex organisations, I know how to navigate major institutions with many programmes and moving parts. Most importantly, I believe in unity! TOGETHER we can do more, achieve more, and make a positive impact for everyone!

- Run workshops on PhD applications and funding to make further research an accessible option for all.
- Host more non-alcoholic social events to build a stronger faculty community.
It's a bit cringy to share, but a few years ago I ran in the SU elections at my previous university. You can read my manifesto here (please don't judge 😂). I suppose I am sharing this to show more of who I am, and what I care about (demilitarising education, building staff-student solidarity), and to offer reassurance that I am running for this position because I truly believe another university is possible, and not just because I want something to put on my CV.
I would like to think my methods are a bit more refined than when I was 19, but my reasons for running are exactly the same :)
