Election post
I come from the construction industry and now study its economics at The Bartlett, UCL's Faculty of the Built Environment. I understand how decisions are made, and more importantly, how they affect people. I work with structure, timelines, and expectations every day. I don’t overpromise. I listen carefully, act when needed, and stay consistent. I value clarity, and I approach this role with the same discipline I apply to my work: focused, pragmatic, and committed to results.
I want to improve how students and faculty communicate. Not through more meetings, but through clearer processes and faster responses. I’ll focus on making feedback visible and making sure it leads to change. I’ll work to ensure that students know what’s happening, why it’s happening, and how they can influence it. That’s the minimum we should expect.
I understand how institutions work, and I know how easily student voices get lost in them. I won’t waste time with vague promises or empty gestures. I’ll focus on what matters: making sure concerns are heard, followed up, and resolved. I’ll keep communication clear, decisions transparent, and priorities aligned with what students actually need. If elected, I’ll treat this role with the seriousness it deserves.
