What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

Union Politics is broken - Lets bring accountablity back to the trustee board

I will:

🚫Oppose UCL union banking with Barclays - Barclays' record on human rights means we must cut ties.

🗳️Push for an NUS referendum - We waste over £20k a year on membership - Lets spend that money on our societies and student welfare instead.

🏢Support plans for a Student's Union Building - If done right, this would transform student life at UCL - Lets work together to get this across the line.

⚖️ Hold the leadership team to account - Sabb officers should listen to students all year not just during elections.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

Last year I sat on activities zone where I was met with an activities & engagement officer who did minimal work and faced no consequences. I want to help make sure that the SU is governed competently, not by rule-breaking grifters💼

• I also passed a policy last year - I had to jump through various hoops to even get it voted on.  I have fought SU bureaucracy before and I'll do it again🥊

• As an NUS rep I saw first hand how we spend our money - I was told to vote for reforms despite widespread concerns about the fineprint.  If this is what student democracy is I dont want to be part of it🏃🚪

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

Most of us dont understand student politics so let me be straight with you - As a singular trustee board member theres very little that I can do in terms of forcing change (there are 9+ other trustees who can easily overrule me).

But what I can promise is to be a voice of reason in trustee board meetings - challenging and questioning decisions rather than blindly following Student union groupthink.

Vote SETH to hold our officers to account!

🚨DONT FORGET TO USE YOUR 2ND PREFERENCE🚨 - we are electing 2 trustees in this election so it really does make a difference!
