What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

Kerem has previously held posts at the UCL Student Union and Academic Board as a Life Sciences Faculty Rep and other student-led bodies where he developed his skills in administrative leadership, representation, and negotiation, which are crucial in representing student voices and enacting change within the faculty.

Yuvraj has served as the Lead Departmental Rep for Neuroscience and is the current president of NeuroSoc which earned him great skills in communication, organisation and feedback collection, which are essential to making sure every problem and concern is seen, said and sorted.

What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

Our primary goal is to create a clear and centralised channel for students to share their thoughts and concerns with the faculty, bridging the gap between academic staff and students.

With Kerem's expertise in representation and negotiation, we will use your feedback to advocate for faculty reform and take action ourselves - change happens beyond the walls of a meeting room.

With Yuvraj's experienced background in leading projects to implement positive change, we will translate your thoughts, needs, and suggestions into real-world results.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.
  • We have a proven track record of getting results
  • We have robust communication skills and relationships with both the student body and the Faculty of Life Sciences
  • We cultivated an extensive network at UCL which grants us the capacity to push things faster and implement change with much ease.
  • We are in a suitable position to negotiate solutions that work for everyone
  • We will strive to extend the boundaries of what a Faculty Rep role entails
  • Through our experience in representing UCL students, we will set a precedence for future academic reps to come
