What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

The number one thing I hope to achieve is to make the stress on the Trans Reps easier! In the past years, the Trans Network took major hits during the pandemic and then when UCL withdrew from Stonewall. As the secretary, I want to enable the other members of the Trans Network Committee to do what they promised while helping where I can behind-the-scenes.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

I already take notes and minutes for Sci-Fi and Fantasy Society, so I am used to working in a secretary-type role here at UCL. On top of that, I am a professional annoyance, which means I am good at hounding people to do their jobs. I plan on working closely with other members of the network to ensure that online administration is taken care of so that the network can serve the trans people of UCL!

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

I like to think I'm pretty cool, but besides that I think that as secretary I will make the lives of the committee and the members of the network a lot easier. I'm reliable and will do my best to make sure that UCL is a safe place for trans people!
