My main goal is to safeguard the students' interests. As a person who has spent four years at UCL, I am familiar with the impact that certain decisions had on students, most notably relating to sudden changes in assessments and teaching. I will try to express the students' voice, making their experience a seamless one.
I would also like to increase the transparency pertaining to decision-making bodies at UCL. The SU's decisions affect the entire student body. Yet not many students are aware of the processes followed. I want to provide them with an insight, thus increasing accountability.
During the 2021/22 academic year, I served as a Competitions Officer for the UCL Law Society. Working with 6 other people on the motions and formats of debating competitions, I worked harmoniously, even when clashes of ideas and personalities occurred. I am not just a team player, but also an individual who can work in complex environments where different roles are involved.
I am also one of the co-founders of the UCL Legal Tech Society, the first of its kind within the major London Universities. As a forward-thinking person who acts upon innovative ideas, I can help UCL move forward.
Students should vote for me because of my motivations. I want to become a Trustee in order to help current, but also future generations at UCL. During my Law degree here, I always thought that participation in UCL-wide affairs was lacking.
Some student matters were not addressed properly and people coming from minority backgrounds often had difficulty acclimatising. I want to tackle these issues. By doing so, I will not only help those in a difficult position, but will also inspire future students. A productive cycle of engagement will hopefully be created, generating UCL-wide benefits.

I have spent many years helping people in need, working as a volunteer English teacher, Chinese-English translator and in other voluntary positions, and speaking up for them. I have developed strong organisational, planning and execution skills during this time. At the same time, I have empathy for others' experiences and sufferings. With the same enthusiasm, confidence and abilities required, I am here to fight for the future of our University and our Faculty.
I will endeavour to participate actively on the Board of Trustees and do all I can for you.
Vote for me that fight for you. Vote for me for a brighter future.
