Yoga and Meditation Club: Outreach Officer

Hi everyone! I’m Deniz, and I’m from Istanbul, Turkey. Practicing yoga is one of my favorite parts of my life because it makes me feel so much better both emotionally and physically. I also love socializing, making new friends, and trying new things outside my comfort zone, both alone and with others.

These are the reasons why I’ve decided to run for Outreach Officer and Social Secretary! As Outreach Officer, I would love to organize collaborations with other societies to introduce more people to yoga, while also giving our members the chance to try something new and meet new people. I believe yoga has had such a positive impact on my life, and I would love to help create opportunities for others to experience that too. I also think that new experiences can add so much creativity, new knowledge and experience to every day life so collaborations would be the perfect opportunity! I’m a friendly and enthusiastic person, and I would be excited to bring people together, build new connections, and help our community continue to grow.
