Volleyball Club: President

I’m standing for President because UCL Volleyball has been a huge part of my time at university. Having played on the Men’s Team and served as Treasurer this year, I’ve seen how much this society gives to its members. It’s a place where people come together to play, learn, and grow both on and off the court.

As Treasurer, I’ve worked to make sure our teams have the resources they need to train and compete while keeping things organised and transparent. Being in that role allowed me to see how every part of the society connects and how important it is to have a strong, supportive environment behind it.

If elected, I want to continue building on that. I’ll focus on improving our competitive teams making sure all teams are supported and have the opportunity to excel. I want to continue creating more opportunities for players to enjoy the sport and develop their skills on a social level and also ensuring we offer support for those who want to improve their skills and grow as players. I want to continue making volleyball at our society as inclusive and accessible as possible for all. Most of all, I want to make sure every member feels supported, valued, and proud to be part of this vibrant community.
